Most of the LCD segments did not work, but I could tell the meter was functional.
Ordered a similar LCD from Mouser and wire wrapped / soldered in as described by Mr. Modemhead.
My LCD was a slightly different model and the plastic bracket that I put the Dremel to was a little different -- but the process was generally the same.
It ended up being a lot of work and a somewhat expensive repair. Probably wouldn't do another one, but I do like the meter.
